Tickets for Eden Match Are Being Sold Online

The Indian Premier League is coming back to Eden gardens of Kolkata after a long gap of two years. Due to the covid situation, the competition was held at the United Arab Emirates previously.

Then on, the supporters in Kolkata as well as the other parts of India could not enjoy the matches of IPL in the gallery of Eden gardens. So once again, the cricket lovers of Bengal are going to get the taste of watching their favourite matches of IPL sitting in the gallery. The board President and the former Indian team captain, Sourav Ganguly was recently seen to supervise the arrangement of the match at Eden. It has been reported that he is happy to see the condition of the ground and the gallery. The selling of online tickets has also been started from yesterday.

The first qualifier match and eliminator match, both are being held at Eden on 24th and 25th May with the full capacity of 100%. The supporters can get tickets worth of 800, 1000, 1500 and 3000. As the corona situation is not still under full control, the regulation of masks and sanitizers maybe provided to the audience by the CAB.

It is also reported that there have been instructions to create sporting wicket, where the bowlers will also get assistance beside the batsmen. But the biggest thing to worry about right now is that there has been a forecast of storm and downpour in Kolkata on 24th and 25th May. As a precaution, the whole ground maybe covered from the previous day of the match. It will help in continuing the match when the rain stops.

The four blocks of the hospitality box are being kept under the biological protection zone. One team will be starting the practice within 20th of this month. Besides Eden, practices will be going on at the Salt Lake campus of Jadavpur University. There will also be protection zones in that campus.

CAB is also preparing for a performance on the day of the qualifying match. Illumination exhibitions will be seen there. The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is also invited to come and watch the match.
