Kochi: The audio and trailer launch of Lijo Jose Pellissery’s latest film “Malaiakkottai Valiban,” featuring Mohanlal and eagerly awaited in the Indian cinema world, was held in Kochi on 18 January, 2024. The artists and crew members of the film, led by Mohanlal and Lijo Jose, participated in the event organized by DNFT at the Bolgatty Palace in Kochi.
Mohanlal explicitly conveyed that this film transcends the boundaries of being just a Malayalam film and is intended to be experienced in other languages, including Tamil and Telugu. When one watches the film in different languages, it unfolds as a story told in the respective language, he expounded. Mr. Mohanlal also highlighted that the film revolves around rich folklore, mystery, and viewers, upon watching it, will comprehend these mysteries, leaving a lasting impression on their minds.
Subhash Manuel, Director of Tech Bank Movies, the owners of DNFT, mentioned that the promotional activities of the film have been progressing successfully with the support and graceful presence of superstar Mohanlal. The grand launch event of the audio and trailer was complemented by various cultural performances.
The film’s producer, Shibu Baby John, and the female lead, Sonali Kulkarni, along with other artists, expressed their perception of the movie. Live performances of the movie’s songs “Thayum Thanthaiyum” sung by Palakkad Sriram and “Punnaara Kaattile” featuring Abhaya Hiranmayi and Sreekumar Vakkiyil were also presented before the audience for the first time. The exclusive images and short videos of the film are accessible through DNFT (Decentralized Non-Fungible Token) platform. DNFT is being introduced globally through Malaikkottai Valiban.
