The admit cards for the UGC NET 2024 exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are yet to be released and should be released shortly. Upon their release, the candidates who have registered for the test will be able to access their admit cards from the NTA official website using their application number and date of birth.
Following the conventions, the authority of UGC NET 2024 will release admit cards approximately 2-3 days before the exam dates. The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted between August 21 and September 4, 2024, in all the centers across the country.
NTA has earlier released the UGC NET 2024 city intimation slips for all subjects except for the exam that is scheduled on August 26, 2024. This particular exam date has now been rescheduled to August 27, 2024, for the festival of Krishna Janmashtami. The details of the new examination centers for the August 27 exam will be published shortly on the city intimation slip on the NTA website.

The intimation slips issued till now contain details about the center city allotted for the exam. It enables candidates to arrange for transport and look for a place to stay in the region in advance. The candidate’s city intimation slips can be downloaded using their application number and date of birth.
The UGC NET 2024 examination will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode in 83 subjects. Humanities subjects are Hindi, English, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, and Foreign languages – French, Spanish, Arabic, etc. Subjects such as Library Science, Labour Welfare, Mass Communication, and Journalism will be on the list of UGC NET 2024.
The June 2022 attempt at the UGC NET exam was earlier called off because of the alleged leakage of the question paper. However, after extensive investigation, the authorities were forced to clarify that there had been no leakage as was being portrayed.
The UGC NET exam score is used to qualify candidates for Assistant Professor jobs and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Universities and Colleges in India. Passing the exam is a prerequisite for employment for most teaching jobs in the country.
Additionally, candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA website for any updates or changes to the exam schedule.
