Shinde’s Attack on The Family System

The battle of the army with the army in Mumbai on the tenth! Fighting is a show of strength. Standing at Shivaji Park, Uddhav Thackeray warned, “This year Ravana is different.”

Uddhav’s rival and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde camp held a ground meeting at MMRD near Matoshree. Before that, Shinde did not stop to poke at Thackeray’s ‘family system’ by tweeting.

Shinde took a hand at his rival Uddhav by quoting Harivansh Rai Bachchan. “My son will not be my successor just because he is my son, whoever will be my successor will be my son,” he wrote on Twitter before attending the Dussehra gathering at Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex on the 5th

This is the first time in the history of 56 years. The Shiv Sena was divided into two parts this time around the Dussehra meeting. After the establishment of the party in 1966, this was the first time that Dussehra was observed at these two places. The Uddhav Thackeray camp had announced Dussehra celebrations at Shivaji Park following the tradition. Shinde announced the Dussehra meeting at the Bandra-Kurla Complex, just 5 km away, a stone’s throw from Uddhav’s residence, Matoshree. The weather in Mumbai was hot from the morning around these two meetings of the two camps, and the heated comments of the two leaders of the two camps made the situation more heated.

Since that morning, around the festival of Dussehra, Mumbai was in full swing. Kalyan station was virtually occupied by Uddhav’s followers from noon. Several bus routes were diverted for the meeting. Mumbai’s Dabbawalas, known as Uddhav’s followers, also attended the Shivaji Park meeting. On the other hand, Balasaheb Thackeray’s elder son Jaidev Thackeray was seen at Shinde’s meeting that day. Attending the meeting, Jaidev said, “I have been getting many calls for the past few days. Many people are asking whether I am joining the Shinde camp. I am not one to join any camp. But I support what Shinde has raised. He is hardworking like a farmer. Don’t leave him. There should be another vote to throw out this government. Shinde’s government should be returned in the elections.” In this same meeting Jaidev’s ex-wife Smita Thackeray was also present with her son.

On the 5th, Congress expressed its support to the Uddhav camp. By-elections are to be held in the East Andheri Assembly constituency on November 3. The seat has been lying vacant since the death of MLA Ramesh Latke from that center. Uddhav wants his wife Rituja Latke to stand in the center instead of Ramesh.

Bhagwat spoke about seeking a law to control the population

Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat made a plea in favor of the Population Control Act on the 5th from the stage of the Vijaya Dashami event. Although the Sangh Parivar (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, RSS) has been arguing in favor of the law for a long time, the government said a few days ago that the government is not thinking of bringing the bill as it has achieved significant results in birth control.
