The website pmkisan.gov.in works for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana paying farmers with a yearly aid of 6 thousand rupees. The official website for PM Kisan was initiated with a motive to host different schemes that are in line to be launched by the Central government. At present, eligible farmers have been receiving 2 thousand rupees every three months through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The entitled amount is being credited to the beneficiary accounts as per the government’s guidelines. Currently, the 8th installment of the scheme was rolled out, and the amount was credited to the respective beneficiary accounts. A unique registration number is being assigned to every farmer applying for the scheme, that stores the applicant’s information related to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Initiated around 2 years ago, the central government recently rolled the eighth installment of the scheme. The aim behind giving this aid was to help farmers ensure proper crop health and yield. The money can also be used by farmers to purchase seeds for a new crop.
Through the scheme, the central government of India plans to increase the income of farmers to twice by 2022. PM Kisan Scheme Eligibility
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is intended for small and medium-scale farmers in the country. The government of India issued some guidelines pertaining to the eligibility status of a farmer who is willing to avail of the scheme benefits. As per the regulations imposed by the central government, any farmer not meeting the eligibility criteria is not entitled to the scheme benefits. - Current or Former Member of the Parliament.
- Farmers paying Income Tax.
- Any State’s Member of Legislative Assembly.
- Any Member of Zilla Panchayat.
- Pensioners.
Any farmer who does not belong to this list can apply for the scheme through the PM Kisan portal.
Applying for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme
Farmers can apply for the scheme through both online and offline means by furnishing the necessary documents. The applicants would receive the grant amount in three installments after the application is processed successfully. The government of India has assigned different teams for the proceedings and crediting the amount to ensure that every farmer receives the benefits rightfully. A farmer would receive the benefits only if the necessary land documents are submitted stating themself as the rightful owner of the property.
The PM Kisan online portal also provides the necessary details of the scheme like checking the application status and installments, amongst others. The whole amount from the scheme is being credited to all the beneficiary accounts three times a year, dividing to an amount of 2 thousand per installment. In case of not receiving any installment, farmers can raise a complaint through the official PM Kisan portal. Several PM Kisan Seva Representatives are being appointed to assist the farmers facing difficulty with the online proceedings.
At present, the government of India mandated the submission of mutation documents for farmers willing to apply for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If a farmer fails to have furnished the mutation documents with the application, the scheme benefits will not be given to such applicants. The scheme beneficiaries who have been receiving the benefits already need not present any new documents now. Old applicants can use the PM Kisan official portal to check the scheme’s status through a state-wise division.

- One has to open the official website or portal of the PM Kisan Scheme.
- The Farmers Corner Section would appear on the homepage of the portal.
- Making this selection displays different options like ‘New Farmer Registration,’ ‘Beneficiary Status,’ and ‘Edit Aadhar Failure Records,’ amongst others. The first one on the menu is the required choice.
- On clicking the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option, the portal would open the application page.
- The applicant has to first enter the Aadhar Identification number, enter the Captcha code, and select the state of residence.
- After filling in these details, the applicant has to click on the ‘Search’ button.
- The portal shows the complete registration form after this. The applicants need to fill in all the necessary details correctly.
- After entering everything, the applicant can click on the Submit button.
- Once all the entered details are valid, the portal asks the applicant for the bank account details. Every applicant has to give an active bank account’s information in which they want the scheme amount to be credited.
On entering all the details, the applicants should submit the application for further processing.
Checking the Application Status on PM Kisan Portal
Farmers who are new applicants to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme can check their application status using the PM Kisan official portal. The government of India updates the status of every application after every proceeding. To check the new application status, the applicant has to follow the steps mentioned here.
- Applicants need to go to the official web portal of PM Kisan.
- The Beneficiary Status option appears on the Farmer’s Section of the website.
- On clicking the link, the applicants would be prompted to enter their Aadhar Number, Account Number, or the Registered Mobile Number related to the application.
- Applicants can enter any one of these and click on the ‘Get Data’ option.
Selecting the Get Data option displays the application linked to the entered details. Applicants can check their status and information like Farmer’s Name, Registration Status, Instalment Details, and Application’s Status, amongst others.
PM Kisan Official Portal Beneficiary List
The beneficiary list on the PM Kisan portal contains the list of farmers receiving the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Scheme. A farmer’s name would appear on this list after the application is successfully processed. Any farmer can check their name on the PM Kisan Beneficiary list from the official portal through the following process.
- The applicant needs to visit the official portal of the PM Kisan Scheme.
- One can find the ‘Beneficiary List’ option under the farmer’s corner section of the portal.
- Clicking on the option would reload a new webpage for the applicant.
- The applicant will now have to make the necessary selections like State, District, Sub District, and Block, amongst others.
- One can see the ‘Get Report’ option at the end of these selections. The applicant will have to click on that option after making the necessary selections.
The displayed results would show a list of all the beneficiaries from the selected area. Here, the applicants can check for their names.
