According to the latest update OnePlus has announced on Friday that it will work on integrating the codebase of oxygen OS with Color OS. After the integration of the two companies, better products and more resources can ben10 available. Disintegration will help in bringing more stable and faster software for the OnePlus users. 

In a blog post, Gary C, who is the product lead of oxygen OS has said that after a thorough analysis and discussions they have come to a plan to leverage the sources with OPPO. The people has been assured by the product lead that the operating system will remain OxygenOS. The main notion behind this integration is to bring future updates for oppo users with a more stable and faster platform.

OnePlus 8 will also be receiving three major updates for Android and security updates for 4 years. This feature will be applicable for the new devices also. The team is working hard to bring all the updates so that they can provide the best service to the users. The Nord CE and the Nord data considered as the mid-ranger will be getting two Android updates and security updates for 3 years. The other Nord N100 and N10 will be receiving only one major Android update with three years of security updates. 

Pete Lau, the CEO of OnePlus has also revealed that despite the deeper build in with oppo one plus will remain operating independently.
