The Indian second cricket team was spotted having the training session in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Indian team reached there a few days back, and the series against the Sri Lankan team from 13th July.

It is a second squad that BCCI has come up with the lead of Shikhar Dhawan, with the first squad has arrived in the UK for their test series against England.

The first squad: led by Virat Kohli, which consists of the primary players of the Indian team. The second squad: led by Shikhar Dhawan, which was formed by BCCI as the secondary squad for the series, which is going to be held against Sri Lanka.

The series is set to begin on 13th July, and the players have just arrived on Monday and went for quarantine for three days.

The primary player and the captain of the second Indian team is Shikhar Dhawan, while the coach is veteran Indian player Rahul Dravid.

The Sri Lankan series is the last series, which India will play before the T20 world cup that will be held in October-November.

The squad has six uncapped Indian players: namely, K Gowtham,  Chetan Sakariya, Nitish Rana, Ruturaj Gaekwad, Varun Chakravarthy, and Devdutt Padikkal. Indian team spotted training for Sri Lanka tour.

The Indian players such as Ishan Kishan, Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, and Sanju Samson need to give their best performance in the Sri Lanka series to be selected for the world cup team.

The full Indian squad playing the Sri Lankan series is Shikhar Dhawan (Captain), Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (vice-captain), Hardik Pandya, Manish Pandey, , Chetan Sakariya, Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Nitish Rana, K Gowtham, Varun Chakravarthy, Ruturaj Gaekwad, Sanju Samson (Wicketkeeper), Devdutt Padikkal, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Chahar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav.

The Net bowlers consist of Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore, and Simarjeet Singh.

These players have been chosen to represent the second-string Indian cricket team.
