Three fire engines went to the spot after getting the information about the fire. The fire was brought under control after about 5 hours. Manish died at night. Federation of Western India Cine Employees General Secretary Ashok Dubey said the sets of two production houses were gutted in the fire. He also said that the sets of Luv Ranjan’s film were heavily stocked with wood and other props, from which the fire spread faster. Dubey alleged that a set built by the construction company that built the set caught fire last year as well. According to him, the instructions given by the municipality in making film sets are often not followed properly. And that is why such disasters happen again and again.

Film producer Boney Kapoor is associated with Luv Ranjan’s film. He told the media that at that time other members of the unit were present on the set for lighting work. But he does not know the real cause of the fire. Even on the 30th, the fire department could not say anything clearly about the source of the fire. However, they said, the fire first broke out in a temporary pavilion. The set was stocked with so many inflammable materials that the fire spread quickly.
